Performics Announces 16 New Client Wins in Affiliate Marketing Channel

Search and Affiliate Leader Expands Investment with New OrangeLinks(SM) and ConnectCommerce(SM) Innovations

NEW YORK, July 6 /PRNewswire/ — Performics, the performance marketing division of DoubleClick, today announced the addition of 16 new affiliate marketing client wins. The new client wins, as well as significant product development innovations, are propelling Performics to a strong second half of the year.

“We entered 2006 with renewed enthusiasm for the affiliate marketplace. We sensed a tide turning with advertisers increasingly interested in CPA advertising while maintaining their brand and growing sales with quality publishers. Our focus is on transparency and quality growth through the affiliate channel,” said Chris Henger, vice president of affiliate marketing for Performics. “Adding 15 new advertisers to our affiliate network highlights the appeal of Performics’ approach. Midway through the year, I am pleased to report that our enthusiasm for affiliate marketing is well founded.”

The newly acquired advertisers are: Alaska Airlines, Aeropostale, Aramark, BlindsGalore, Britannica.com, Build Direct, Folica.com,
OneStepAhead/Leaps & Bounds, Peach Direct, Smith & Hawken, Warnaco (CKU.com and Speedo.com), Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company (Dickies.com), Xebra (GoCollect.com) and Zagat.

Performics approached 2006 with an aggressive roadmap for product innovation. In early June, Performics began offering OrangeLinks, a powerful new way to access, receive and activate advertiser links. With OrangeLinks, Performics delivers pre-generated, live links directly to affiliates via FTP or email. More than 225 publishers subscribed within the first 24 hours, and clients have already realized an increase in publisher productivity.

“The publisher response to OrangeLinks has been overwhelmingly positive. Our primary objective is to continue to try to make things easier for our publishers,” added Mr. Henger.

Performics has also delivered on its promise to improve the overall usability of ConnectCommerce, Performics’ proprietary tracking and reporting platform. Earlier this year Performics added network level stats to the publisher interface. Through ConnectCommerce, publishers can now view an advertiser’s 7-day earnings per click (EPC), 90-day EPC and payout rank. This information helps publishers make decisions about their outbound marketing and better optimize their advertiser programs.
