Ritz Camera Announces New Keyword Policy in Commission Junction Affilaite Program
Please be advised that our keyword search policy has been updated today. Included is a policy on branded keyword searches and a list of protected keywords.
Protected keywords are: Rits Pics, Ritz Pics, Ritz Pix, RitzPix, ritzcamera, ritz camera, Ritz Camera, RitzCamera, Ritz camera, ritz Camera, Ritz Camera, RitzCamera.com, Wolf Camera, WolfCamera, WolfCamera.com, RitzPix.com, Ritz Pix.com, printatwolf, print at wolf, printatwolf.com

RITZ CAMERA BRANDED KEYWORDS PAID SEARCH POLICY FOR ritxpix.com:
I. BRANDED SEARCH TERMS & VISIBLE URLS: Affiliates are permitted to bid the minimum Cost Per Click on branded keywords that Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. represents, provided the following:
1. The landing page must reside on the affiliate’s website.
2. Affiliates are not allowed to link directly to ritzpix.com on any branded trademarked terms.
3. Affiliates are not allowed to outbid ritzpix.com on any branded trademarked terms.
4. Affiliates are not allowed to use ritzpix.com site URL or trademarked terms in the display URL (either as all or part of its name) when bidding on any branded trademarked terms.
5. Affiliates may not use trademark symbols, registered mark symbols, or use the words “official site”, “official store†or “official†in their advertising for ritzpix.com.
6. Affiliates must ensure that all copy used for search and keyword purposes is appropriate and 100% accurate and does not contain any claims that could be construed to be false or misleading.
II. NON-BRANDED SEARCH TERMS & VISIBLE URLS: Affiliates are permitted to bid on non-branded keywords for products that Ritzpix.com represents, provided the following:
1. Affiliates are not allowed to use ritzpix.com site URL or trademarked terms in the display URL domain name (either as all or part of its name) when bidding on any non-branded search terms. Affiliates can include ritzpix.com as a folder within the URL domain name.
For example:
www. ritzpix.com .com is not allowed
www. (Affiliate website name) .com/ ritzpix.com is allowed
2. Affiliates may not use trademark symbols, registered mark symbols, or use the words “official site”, “official store†or “official†in their advertising for ritzpix.com.
3. Affiliates may not link directly to ritzpix.com on non-branded keywords for products that ritzpix.com represents.
4. Affiliates must ensure that all copy used for search and keyword purposes is appropriate and 100% accurate and does not contain any claims that could be construed to be false or misleading.
III. NOTIFICATION: Affiliates must agree that, following notice from Ritz Camera or Commission Junction, they will promptly remove any search listing containing copy and/or creative components that Ritz Camera, in its sole discretion, deems inappropriate for any reason. If Ritz Camera determines, in its sole discretion, that an affiliate has purchased or attempted to make any purchase in violation of the above policy, then Ritz Camera may (without limiting any other remedies available to it) pursue any or all of the following actions:
1. Withhold all compensation otherwise payable to you for the month in which you purchased the prohibited trademarked terms.
2. Contact the search engine in which your ad was found to ask that these ads be removed immediately and permanently.
3. Terminate this Agreement as provided in the section titled “Term of the Agreement; Termination”, and remove you from the ritzpix.com Affiliate Program permanently.
