It’s time for another edition of the LoveMyShoes.Com Affiliate Newsletter, your source for the latest happenings here at LoveMyShoes.Com and how these happenings will improve conversions and mutually benefit both your company and ours.
PRODUCT FEED
Our product feed now contains a delimited list of colors for each of our products. This week we began the planning stages of implementing a color selection system for our item detail pages. We are planning to launch this feature in the first quarter of 2007. Until then, we invite you to incorporate the color list into your systems as our existing product photography is usually a one-shot of all color selections available.
MANPOWER
LoveMyShoes.Com has grown by leaps and bounds this year. Sales are at an all time high. As many in the retail business knows, this has presents advantages and disadvantages, as more sales require more workers to fulfill orders and support customers. The summer of 2006 has been a learning experience for everyone, and we have responded to increased customer displeasure by doubling our work force. Additional controls are now in place to stem the tide of customer dissatisfaction and we look forward to a strong fall season with an even stronger staff.
BARGAINBASEMENTSHOES.COM
Coming in the 4th quarter of this year, LoveMyShoes.Com will be debuting another satellite website, bargainbasementshoes.com. This site will feature inventory AGGRESIVELY priced to move. We’re talking price cuts up to 75% off the original retail price. The intention of this site is to move stale inventory and liquidate excess inventory that didn’t meet initial sales projections. More information on this site to come, but it will be available to all LMS affiliates who have exhibited strong retail performance for us in the past.

AFFILIATE CONVENTION
I will be attending the 2006 Affiliate Convention at the Intercontinental Chicago representing LoveMyShoes.Com. Stop by and say hello if you are planning to attend. I’ll be the handsome gentleman with the great affiliate program and a keen eye for womens footwear.
PaidByCash
LoveMyShoes.Com is working to implement the PaidbyCash system, a payment method which allows younger buyers to purchase shoes using pre-paid gift cards they can purchase at 20,000 major retail locations across the country. Basically, the customer can purchase the card with cash, the balance of which is added to a gift card with a Visa logo they can use anywhere Visa is accepted. This payment option allows us to serve an even larger customer base.
FALL BUYERS
Fall 2006 is rapidly approaching and the season has already begun for shoe fanatics. We recommend pushing Back To School and even holiday purchasing at this time to get a jump on the season.
